“看”与“吃”：一座老挝古城里中国游客的消费

【摘要】：随着昆曼铁路的立项,老挝的旅游名城琅勃拉邦渐渐开始获得中国游客与商人的关注,在这一过程中他们渐渐影响着琅勃拉邦及其旅游业。这一过程可以成为研究旅游人类学的重要案例。为此,笔者在老挝琅勃拉邦使用民族志方法进行了为期五个月的田野调查,并通过"旅游凝视"三个最主要的方面:反向性、视觉支配性及社会性探讨了 "旅游凝视"的理论背景下的"看"与"吃"。在琅勃拉邦,以中国游客为例,"看"与"吃"都体现出了不同特性,体现了"看"与"吃"之间对立统一的张力。这种"看"与"吃"之间的张力,背后是旅游作为一种现代仪式,"非常态"与"常态"的对立关系。在旅游地的权力体系之中,便是通过同时生产"非常态"与"常态"的消费场景来刺激游客的消费,使游客可以周而复始的在两种状态之间切换,从而得出一种现代旅游地的生产图式。
[Abstract]:With the establishment of the Kunman Railway, Laotian tourist city Luang Prabang gradually began to attract the attention of Chinese tourists and businessmen, and in the process they gradually affected Luang Prabang and its tourism industry. This process can become an important case study of tourism anthropology. Therefore, the author conducted a five-month field survey in Luang Prabang, Laos, using ethnographic methods, and through the three most important aspects of "tourist gaze": reverse, Visual dominance and sociality are discussed in view and eating under the theoretical background of "tourist gaze". In Luang Prabang, taking Chinese tourists as an example, both "see" and "eat" embody different characteristics and the tension of unity of opposites between "see" and "eat". The tension between "watching" and "eating" is the opposite relationship between "abnormal" and "normal" as a modern ritual. In the power system of tourist destination, it is to stimulate tourists' consumption by simultaneously producing "abnormal" and "normal" consumption scenes, so that tourists can switch between the two states over and over again. Thus a production schema of modern tourist destination is obtained.
