人性刻写与文化省思:袁劲梅小说论

【摘要】：袁劲梅的小说创作独具思辨色彩,问题意识鲜明。本论文以文本细读法进入袁劲梅的小说创作,运用叙事学理论结合历史学及社会学的相关研究对其进行综合考察,探讨袁劲梅小说创作的突出主题及叙事方式,展现其在海外华文文学创作中的独特性。第一章着重分析袁劲梅小说的突出主题即通过书写中国现代人性特征反思中国文化。袁劲梅着力刻画现代中国人身上的奴性、动物性及无原则性等特征。她认为这些人性特征的形成与中国传统文化密不可分,等级制的影响、对权势的尊崇及注重人伦关系而轻法治的处事方式都是引发上述问题的关键所在。第二章则从叙事技巧方面展现袁劲梅小说创作的独特性。小说结构具有鲜明的思辨色彩,以提出问题、解决问题的格式呈现;叙述者的介入干预使得作者观点突出,论说性较强;文本内部的对比手法凸显作者在东西古今之间的横贯联通,具有独特的文化历史意味;作者机智幽默的语言使其小说充满智慧,增强了叙事效果。第三章则对袁劲梅的创作意义及局限进行评述。她对现代中国人性的刻写和文化反思凸显了海外知识分子的批判精神和责任意识;独特的小说叙事方式丰富了小说创作的多样性,在海外华文文学中不容忽视。
[Abstract]:Yuan Jinmei's novel creation has the unique speculative color, the question consciousness is bright. This thesis enters Yuan Jinmei's novel creation with the method of text reading, and makes a comprehensive investigation on it by using narrative theory combined with historical and sociological research, and probes into the prominent theme and narrative mode of Yuan Jinmei's novel creation. To show its uniqueness in overseas Chinese literature creation. The first chapter mainly analyzes the prominent theme of Yuan Jinmei's novels, that is, rethinking Chinese culture by writing the characteristics of modern Chinese human nature. Yuan Jinmei portrays the characteristics of enslavement, animality and no principle in modern Chinese. She believes that the formation of these human characteristics is closely related to the traditional Chinese culture, the influence of hierarchy, the respect for power and the way of dealing with the relationship between human beings and the rule of law are the key to the above problems. The second chapter shows the uniqueness of Yuan Jinmei's novel creation from the aspect of narrative technique. The structure of the novel has a distinct speculative color, in order to put forward problems and solve the problems, the narrator's intervention makes the author's views stand out and his argumentative nature is strong. The contrast inside the text highlights the author's cross-connection between the East and the West, and has a unique cultural and historical meaning. The author's witty and humorous language makes his novel full of wisdom and enhances the narrative effect. The third chapter comments on the significance and limitation of Yuan Jinmei's creation. Her writing of modern Chinese human nature and cultural reflection highlight the critical spirit and sense of responsibility of overseas intellectuals, and her unique narrative style enriches the diversity of novel creation and cannot be ignored in overseas Chinese literature.
