城市公共空间中的柔性边界设计研究

【摘要】：城市公共空间是市民缓释压力、放松心情的场所,对城市居民的生活品质及城市外部空间环境有着重要的影响。作为公共空间与外界环境的枢纽——公共空间边界区域,它是人群户外活动最为丰富的地带,也是人们乐于逗留的场地。然而,在城市公共空间设计中,这些极度重要的边界区域常常不被重视,从而导致空间边界单调乏味,相邻用地之间衔接混乱,缺乏空间整体性及领域性营建。在此背景下,本文提出城市公共空间柔性边界设计研究。本文首先通过对城市公共空间及其边界区域的概念进行界定探讨,提出边界区域既是场所中的过渡空间,又是户外活动的激发点,总结出城市公共空间边界区域具有模糊性、异质性、中介性、层次性和公共性的特征。然后在此论述基础上,根据边界区域与人的行为关系,引入柔性边界概念并阐释其人性化内涵,从“柔性”的视角展开对城市公共空间边界的认知,提出以“柔性”的方式去处理公共空间边界区域能够促进相邻空间之间产生空间上连续和视觉上的渗透,形成具有层次感的过渡。最后,在设计研究内容中,通过对武汉市较为典型的街道边界区域、广场边界区域及公园边界区域三种类型进行调研和分析,对于街道边界区域主要分析其街边设施及临街建筑界面的关系,提出强化街道与建筑交流及优化街边设施等柔性边界设计策略;广场边界区域则从与道路交接的空间设计方面进行分析,主要通过处理场地高差及铺装设计来柔化广场边界;公园边界区域从入口处设计及公园的可达性进行研究,运用边界形态的变化和穿插虚实界面的手法来达到激活边界空间的目的。文章将柔性边界理念运用到城市公共空间设计中,旨在希望通过柔性边界设计方法改善城市公共空间边界区域的品质,将消极空间转化成积极空间,创造出更具弹性的城市空间环境,使城市公共空间发挥更大的功能及作用。
[Abstract]:Urban public space is a place for citizens to release pressure and relax their mood, which has an important impact on the quality of life of urban residents and the outer space environment of the city. As the hub of public space and external environment, the boundary area of public space is the most abundant area of people's outdoor activities, and it is also the place where people are willing to stay. However, in the design of urban public space, these extremely important boundary areas are often ignored, which leads to monotonous spatial boundary, chaotic connection between adjacent land sites, lack of spatial integrity and domain construction. Under this background, this paper puts forward the research of flexible boundary design of urban public space. In this paper, the concept of urban public space and its boundary area is defined and discussed, and the boundary area is not only the transition space in the place, but also the exciting point of outdoor activities. It is concluded that the boundary area of urban public space is fuzzy. The characteristics of heterogeneity, intermediation, hierarchy and publicity. Then on the basis of this discussion, according to the behavior relationship between the boundary area and people, the concept of flexible boundary is introduced and its humanized connotation is explained, and the cognition of the boundary of urban public space is carried out from the angle of "flexibility". It is proposed that the "flexible" approach to the boundary area of public space can promote the spatial continuity and visual penetration between adjacent spaces, and form a transition with a sense of hierarchy. Finally, through the investigation and analysis of the typical street boundary area, square boundary area and park boundary area in Wuhan, For the street boundary area, the relationship between the street side facilities and the building interface is analyzed, and the flexible boundary design strategies such as strengthening the street and building communication and optimizing the street side facilities are put forward. The square boundary area is analyzed from the space design of the intersection with the road, and the square boundary is mainly softened by the height difference of the site and the pavement design, and the park boundary area is studied from the entrance design and the park accessibility. In order to activate the boundary space, the change of boundary form and the interweaving of virtual and real interface are used to activate the boundary space. In this paper, the concept of flexible boundary is applied to urban public space design in order to improve the quality of urban public space boundary area through flexible boundary design method, and transform negative space into positive space. Create a more flexible urban space environment, so that urban public space to play a greater function and role.
