关于国学典籍英译的分析——评《门外译谈》

【摘要】：正随着经济全球化进程的深入,文化领域的跨文化传播也愈加频繁,翻译工作对于弘扬中华文化和精神愈加具有举足轻重的意义。《门外译谈》作者李照国多年来从事国学典籍和中医经典的翻译和教学,在总结中华文化精气神韵、诸子学说的主旨精神和中国翻译历史沿革的基础上,提出了典籍翻译主体选择的原则。他认为在中外译者合作模式全面实施前,应加强中国典籍译者的能力培养。《门外译谈》可供从事外语教学、文化翻译和语言研究工作者参考。典籍翻译不同于普通畅销书翻译。首先,它需要翻译者具有较高的文化素养,对中国古典经史子集较为熟悉。但中国古典文化源远流长,文化典籍卷帙
[Abstract]:With the deepening of the process of economic globalization, cross-cultural communication in the field of culture is becoming more and more frequent. Translation is becoming more and more important for the promotion of Chinese culture and spirit. Author Li Zhaoguo has been engaged in the translation and teaching of Chinese classics and classics for many years, summing up the essence of Chinese culture. On the basis of the purport spirit and the history of Chinese translation, this paper puts forward the principle of the subject selection of translation of classical books. He thinks that before the mode of Chinese-foreign translators' cooperation is fully implemented, it is necessary to strengthen the ability training of the translators of Chinese classical books, which can be used as a reference for those engaged in foreign language teaching, cultural translation and language research. The translation of classic books is different from the translation of ordinary bestsellers. First of all, it requires translators to have higher cultural literacy and familiarity with subsets of Chinese classical classics.
