百年后学科架构的多维思考——关于中国现代文学史起点问题的对话

【摘要】：随着"国学热"的兴起和通俗文学研究的进展,中国现代文学的学科架构面临着调整的问题。调整的一个重要方面,就是它的起点。这次就起点问题的对话表达了三种意见:一是认为现代文学史的起点应越过"五四"向前追溯到晚清,至少中国现代通俗文学的起点在晚清;二是认为现代文学史的起点应从现代文学与古代文学的区分上来考虑,还应坚持"五四"的分界线;三是认为中国现代文学应是现代中国文学,即是一种断代意义上的民国文学。这些观点各有自己的理据,参与者由此又将讨论扩展到中国现代文学的学科独立性、中国现代文学史的断代标准、中国现代文学与民族传统文学及西方文学的关系等问题。
[Abstract]:With the rise of "Chinese study fever" and the progress of popular literature research, the subject structure of modern Chinese literature is facing the problem of adjustment. An important aspect of adjustment is its starting point. This time, three opinions are expressed on the starting point: one is that the starting point of modern literary history should be traced back beyond the May 4th Movement to the late Qing Dynasty, at least the starting point of modern popular literature is in the late Qing Dynasty, the other is that the starting point of modern literary history should be considered from the distinction between modern literature and ancient literature, and the dividing line of the May 4th Movement should also be adhered to. Third, it holds that Chinese modern literature should be modern Chinese literature, that is, a kind of literature of the Republic of China in the sense of dating. These viewpoints have their own arguments, from which the participants will extend the discussion to the subject independence of Chinese modern literature, the dating standard of Chinese modern literature history, the relationship between Chinese modern literature and national traditional literature and western literature, and so on.
