岁月映照大师的光辉——张舜徽先生学术品格述论

【摘要】：本文为纪念张舜徽先生诞辰一百周年而作。论述的主要问题是:大师的光辉靠什么来映照?作为一位国学大师,张舜徽先生的学术品格在现代学术史上的意义何在?作者指出,大师的光辉不是"自封"的,不是靠体制性力量或权力资源自我"运作"出来的;不是弟子们"吹捧"出来的;不是靠媒体"炒作"出来的。作者认为,"岁月"是判定一个人能否成为大师的决定性力量。"岁月"的主要含义是历史意识,它包括三个层面:其一,有明确的学术理想和学术目标;其二,有长期的学术积累;其三,有期待学术著作传世的长远意识。最后讨论张先生经常讲的一句名言"吾离后人近,而离今人远"的学术史意义。
[Abstract]:This article commemorates the 100th anniversary of Mr. Zhang Shunhui's birth. The main question discussed is: what reflects the brilliance of the master? As a master of Chinese studies, what is the significance of Mr. Zhang Shunhui's academic character in modern academic history? The author points out that the brilliance of the master is not "self-styled", not "operated" by institutional forces or power resources, not "touted" by disciples, or "hypnotized" by the media. The author believes that "time" is the decisive force to determine whether a person can become a master. The main meaning of "time" is historical consciousness, which includes three aspects: first, there are clear academic ideals and academic goals; second, there is a long-term academic accumulation; and third, there is a long-term consciousness of looking forward to the spread of academic works. Finally, this paper discusses the academic significance of Mr. Zhang's famous saying, "I am close to future generations, but far away from present people."
