【摘要】：正据悉,上海APEC会议筹备期间,急需一位懂8国语言的翻译千寻万觅,最后只得从国外引进了一位外语人才。此事引起了有关方面的注意,在有识之士眼中外语人才与其他人才结构一祥呈金字塔形,顶尖人才的缺失,反映了基础的薄弱。目前,作为外语人才基础的青年知识分子,无论是在校的还是已走上社会的,通常是笔译能力稍强而读、写、听、说能力稍差,从某种意义上来说,也反映了我国外语人才知识结构不尽人意的现状。作为外语人才群体本身,也迫切需要有一种课程能为他们解决口译、口语问题,这也是英语中高级口译证书考试如此火爆的重要原因。
[Abstract]:It is reported that during the preparations for the APEC conference in Shanghai, an interpreter who understands the eight countries' languages is in urgent need of thousand fathom, and finally a foreign language talent has to be introduced from abroad. In the eyes of people of insight, the structure of foreign language talents and other talents is pyramidal, and the lack of top talents reflects the weakness of the foundation. At present, the young intellectuals who are the foundation of foreign language talents, whether they are in school or have entered the society, usually have a slightly stronger ability to translate, read, write, listen and speak, and in a sense, they are less capable of reading, writing, listening and speaking. It also reflects the current situation that the knowledge structure of foreign language talents in China is not satisfactory. As a group of foreign language talents, there is also an urgent need for a curriculum to solve the problems of interpretation and oral English, which is also an important reason why the English Certificate of interpretation examination is so popular.
