混合式学习研究及其网络教学支持系统的建构

【摘要】: 近十几年来,教育技术在理论的指引下不断前进,应用更加广泛。尤其是这些理论与现在一些先进的技术结合后,产生了许多优化教学效果、提高教学效率的手段和工具。这其中就有E-learning的方法,它在教学中起着举足轻重的作用。 目前,国外教育技术界和企业培训界试图用Blended Learning来辅助和改造传统的E-learning,Blended Learning逐渐成为教育技术界高度关注的热点。Blended Learning即混合式学习,它是为了达到教与学的目标,综合考虑传统教学与E-learning的优势,根据学习内容和学习者需要以及教师自身的条件对传递方式进行选取并利用,以提高学习质量和绩效的一种思想。混合式学习思想对促进以网络为主的现代信息技术在教育中的渗透和推广,具有十分重要的现实意义和指导意义。 混合式学习在国外从本世纪初到现在己经走过了从提出、研究到推广应用阶段,我国教育技术界在最近两年也在对其进行文献及理论层面的探讨,并在积极提倡。国内外混合式学习主要用于远程教育及企业和政府培训,我国混合式学习也在社会非学历培训逐渐兴起,但在传统高校教学中的应用尚未有人进行深入研究。为此,我们把如何将混合式学习的优点应用于高校教学过程中,作为本课题研究的主要内容。 本文在探讨混合式学习的理论基础、混合式学习定义及模式等的基础上,以我校教育技术专业部分课程为例,阐述并建立混合式学习的应用模式,架构出一个混合式学习的网络教学支持系统,并且在我校教育技术专业硕士研究生中进行初步的试运行。 我们建构混合式学习支持系统,并利用其开展网络教学,并不是要教师放弃传统的面对面的教学方式。我们要将传统的课堂教学和学生课后在线学习两者进行有机的结合,针对不同的课程制定相应的教学计划和方案,充分发挥出传统课堂教学和E-learning的优势,取得最优化的教学效果。 文章首先介绍了国内外学者对混合式学习的定义和混合式学习的深层涵义,说明混合式学习的四种应用模式,即引领式学习模式、技能驱动模式、态度驱动模式和能力驱动模式。引领式学习模式是指在教师引导和带领下,学习者在特定时间内有目标、按计划地学习指定的在线课程内容;技能驱动模式是指将自定步调的自主学习同教师的在线指导相结合;态度驱动模式是指传统的课堂学习和在线协作学习的结合;能力驱动模式是指学习者与专家共同活动并通过在线方式进行互动以获取隐性知识。 继而,从教学系统设计,教学指导思想,教学组织形式,学习模式,媒体工具等五个方面探讨了学校教育中应该如何开展混合式学习。提出了课堂教学和学生在线学习的混合式学习,建设学习型团队进行混合式学习以及教师和学生之间的混合交互学习三种混合式学习的学习方式。探索了基于引领式学习模式、技能驱动模式、态度驱动模式、能力驱动模式四种混合式学习模式下的混合式学习应用方案。 第三,设计并实现介绍了混合式学习的网络支持系统。该系统采用PHP和MYSQL为实现工具,以WINDOWS和APACHE为服务器环境。在实践上,为了实现四种混合式教学模式的网络教学平台的设想,设计建构了一个多用户角色、多教学模式、多功能的混合式教学系统,集课程开发,教学实施和教学管理等功能于一体。该系统的角色包括管理员,教师和学生。管理员具有管理课程和用户的权限,教师具有管理教学内容的权限,学生可以利用各种学习模式进行学习。 总体上,根据不同类型功能,该系统划分为五个主要模块,分别是用户管理模块,资源管理模块,课程管理模块、日志管理模块和网络教学模块。每个模块都分为前台和后台两部分,后台主要针对管理员和教师进行设计,提供包括课程管理和课程开发的功能;前台为学生服务,提供各种学习模式的界面。课程管理是整个系统的核心内容,具体实现了前面提出的四种教学模式。针对不同的教学模式,教师或管理员可以在后台管理各种模式的课程,学生可以根据教师设定好的课程模式进行学习,该系统的建构方便了混合式学习网络教学的进行。 其中在引领式学习模式下,系统以“周”为单位进行教学管理,教师安排教学内容和学生进行学习都必须以教学周为基本时间单位,保持统一的进度;技能驱动式学习模式下教师针对不同学生的学习情况可以做出不同的教学安排,学生根据教师设定的教学主题自定步调的完成学习;态度驱动模式主要采取学生在线自主学习和讨论相结合的形式;能力驱动模式主要通过学生和教师共同在线,社区专题讨论的方式实现。 最后,对论文进行了总结,提出了文章的创新与特点以及今后进一步研究工作。本研究的创新之处在于将混合式学习应用于传统高校教学中,探索了混合式学习的学习方式,提出了混合式学习的应用方案。同时开发了一个混合式教学支持系统,尝试将技能驱动模式、态度驱动模式、能力驱动模式和引领式学习模式综合应用在该系统之上,充分发挥他们各自的优势,基本实现了混合式学习的网络教学构想。
