新媒体视域下的多模态教学模式促进大学英语词汇学习的实证研究

词汇是语言学习中最基本的要素(语音、语法、词汇)之一。在大学英语教学中,词汇教学无疑是重中之重,学生能否全面掌握英语词汇,对学生的听、说、读、写、译等综合能力及英语成绩的提高至关重要,对于学生语言英语能力的培养起着重要的作用。英国语言学家Wilkins曾在《语言教学中的语言学》中指出:在语言交际中,没有语法,可以传递的信息寥寥无几;没有词汇,无法传递任何信息。毫无疑问,词汇学习对于学生来讲,也是投入精力最多的一部分,但如何更加有效的学习词汇是笔者主要探讨的。近年来,随着信息化技术的高速发展,越来越多的网络技术、信息化技术运用到英语教学当中,特别是新媒体技术,如许多手机APP、慕课、网络课程、微课、在线课程等等,都是借助新媒体技术使教学手段更加丰富、灵活、多样性。当今大学生处在信息化时代背景下,我们的教学也应该适应大学生的学习的背景,更加符合现代化大学生的学习的特征。多模态教学是以社会符号学、系统功能语法学为理论的一种教学模式,该理论从不同的角度和方式去呈现词汇教学,在课堂上充分调动学生的视觉、听觉、味觉、触觉等感官并通过视频、图片、音乐等手段让学生全方位的参与到课堂学习中,并对词汇的不...
