昆明市罗伯特外语学校教学方法的调查研究

【摘要】:英语足一门复杂的语言教学课程,课堂教学方法是英语教学中的一个重要问题,对英语学习的提高起着巨大的作用。如果在教学中忽视学生阶段性的特点,单纯使用传统教学方法进行机械地讲解,灌输在学生眼中枯燥无味的语法、词汇就谈不上学习的积极性和主动性。当教师确定了教学目的,并有了相应的教学内容之后,就必须有富有成效的教学方法,从某种意义来说教学方法关系着的教学成败。课堂教学是一种创造性的劳动,创新是教学活动的生命力,只要能激发学生的学习兴趣,提高其学习积极性,有助于学生思维能力的培养,有利于所学知识的掌握和运用,都是好的教学方法。教师选择运用恰当的教学方法进行教学,就会有助于提高学习效率和课堂效率。英语教育的目的是使学生通过英语学习和实践活动,逐渐掌握英语知识和技能,提高语言实际运用能力,丰富生活经历,开发思维能力,发展个性和提高人文素质。遗憾的是,多数英语老师并非使用有效的教学方法来教导或让学生练习单词、句型和语法,因此学生无法将所学知识应用到“需要沟通的真实世界”、长久下来学生只有在听到与课堂上练习的句子“一模一样”时才会回答。因此,我们只有改进英语课堂教学方法,才能使英语教育适应学习型社会的需要,也才能为培养学生终身学习的能力做出积极的反映,这对于英语培训学校意义更为重大。 本文通过教师访谈、问卷调查、课堂观察等方式收集研究数据资料,结合罗伯特外语学校特色教学环境设计以及教学材料(《Phonics英语字母拼读法》、《剑桥国际儿童英语PLAYWAY》.《剑桥国际少儿英语Kid's Box》《Connect剑桥国际英语教程青少版》)的特点,归纳总结了该校区角教学法、Phonics系统组块法、SMILE教学法、词义识记法、八六法等高效、个性化的英语教学方法,并结合调查问卷和访谈结果进行分析,进一步思考少儿英语教育有效方法的基本特征,并且提出了相关策略分析及对策建议。 全文在理论意义上力求能为英语教学方法的研究领域进行的理论补充,并为近年来外语培训机构教师教学方法的研究提供个案佐证。本研究在现实意义上对罗伯特外语学校教学方法、教学质量和科研水平的提升具有重要实际意义。
[Abstract]:English is a complicated language teaching course. Classroom teaching method is an important problem in English teaching and plays an important role in improving English learning. If we ignore the characteristics of students' stages in teaching, simply use traditional teaching methods to explain them mechanically, and inculcate boring grammar in the eyes of students, vocabulary will not be active and active in learning. When the teacher determines the teaching purpose and has the corresponding teaching content, there must be a fruitful teaching method. In a sense, the teaching method is related to the success or failure of the teaching. Classroom teaching is a kind of creative labor, innovation is the vitality of teaching activities, as long as it can stimulate students' interest in learning, improve their enthusiasm for learning, contribute to the cultivation of students' thinking ability, and be conducive to mastering and applying what they have learned. All are good teaching methods. Teachers choose to use appropriate teaching methods to improve their learning efficiency and classroom efficiency. The purpose of English education is to enable students to master English knowledge and skills gradually through English learning and practical activities, to improve their practical language use ability, to enrich their life experience, to develop their thinking ability, to develop their personality and to improve their humanistic quality. Unfortunately, most English teachers do not use effective teaching methods to teach or practice words, sentence patterns and grammar, so students cannot apply what they have learned to "the real world where communication is needed". Long-term students will answer only when they hear sentences that are identical to those practiced in class. Therefore, only by improving English classroom teaching methods can we adapt English education to the needs of a learning society and make a positive response to develop students' ability of lifelong learning, which is of great significance to English training schools. This paper collects the research data through teachers' interview, questionnaire survey, classroom observation and so on. Combined with the design of special teaching environment and teaching materials (< Phonics alphabet spelling "," Cambridge International Children's English PLAYWAY "), < Cambridge International Children's English Kid's Box > < Connect Cambridge International English course Youth Edition >, This paper summarizes the Phonics system block method, word meaning memorization method, eight six method and other effective and individualized English teaching methods, and analyzes the results of questionnaire and interview. The basic characteristics of effective methods of children's English education are further considered, and the relevant strategies and suggestions are put forward. In the theoretical sense, the thesis tries to supplement the theoretical research in the field of English teaching methods, and provides a case study for teachers' teaching methods in foreign language training institutions in recent years. This study is of practical significance to the improvement of teaching methods, teaching quality and scientific research level in Robert Foreign language School.
