基于CBI理论的商务英语教学实证研究

随着中国加入WTO和经济全球化进程的加快,我国迫切需要既能熟练掌握一门外语又能精通专业知识的综合型人才,为此能够熟练准确地运用商务英语与外国人进行经济贸易活动已经成为众多英语学习者的需求和社会发展的需要。CBI(Content-Based Instruction)作为ESP的一支其将内容学习与语言学习紧密结合,以学科内容为媒介来学习语言从而实现语言和学科知识的共同提高的教学手段近年来已成为业界学者的研究热点。但多数研究集中于对CBI理论的研究以及CBI应用于各类学科和各种层次的学生群体。研究对于CBI与大学商务英语相结合的实证研究却少之又少。本文采用定量的研究方法,选取由黑龙江大学新生入学分级考试筛选出来的两组商务英语水平相当的一级学生作为实验对象,旨在研究:(1)通过前测和后侧结果对比分析发现CBI与传统教学方法相比较哪一种对学生的商务英语语言能力有更大的影响以及在哪些方面产生影响;(2)CBI与传统教学方式相比哪一种对学生在商务素质,即商务思维、跨文化意识、交际能力和团队合作能力等方面的作用更明显。经过一学期的教学,通过前后测对比发现从两班语言能力上看CBI班级成绩略好于传统授课方...
