冈比亚货币政策在控制通货膨胀中的作用

　　本研究实证检验了冈比亚货币政策在控制通货膨胀方面的有效性。本研究以通货膨胀为因变量、货币供应量、利率、汇率和GDP为自变量、用1971-2017年的年度数据对模型、运用多元回归、普通最小二乘法进行了货币政策工具与通货膨胀关系的估计。根据这项研究、货币供应量和利率系数是正的、但在控制冈比亚通货膨胀率方面、5%的水平在统计上没有意义、GDP和汇率系数在5%的水平上也没有统计学意义。该研究建议、政策制定者不仅应该使用货币政策、而且应该将货币政策与其他非货币政策相结合、以有效控制通货膨胀。
