[Abstract]:On July 2019, the Institute of Economic Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences will celebrate its 90th birthday. Here, I would like to pay close attention to the leaders at all levels who have long cared for and supported the construction and development of economic research institutes. Friends from all walks of life and friends at home and abroad extend their lofty respect and sincere thanks! In July 1929, the institute of social investigation of the china education and culture foundation was established. In 1934, the institute of social research and the institute of social sciences of Academia Sinica were merged to follow the name of the institute of social sciences. 1945, the name was changed to "institute of social studies of Academia Sinica"
