《消费社会的未来：新经济下的可持续发展前景》（第四章）翻译实践报告

　　本文是一篇翻译报告,题材选自新泽西理工学院可持续发展研究教授Maurie J.Cohen所著的《消费社会的未来:新经济的可持续发展前景》（The Future of Consumer Society:Prospects for Sustainability in the New Economy）。该著作共7个章节,探讨了更可持续的人类进步形式。本翻译报告所选部分为该著作的第四章:大众市场创客运动。在这一章节,作者描述了当下创客运动的形势及其发展前景,并探讨其作为可持续发展模式的可行性。原文的特点是专业性强、语言富有表现力,具体表现在作者对于术语及修辞的大量使用。这些也是该译文的难点。译文的难点还包括词汇、短语、长难句的传译。针对这些难点,译者在翻译过程中以汉斯·约瑟夫·弗米尔的目的论为理论依据,采取了归化的翻译策略、意译的翻译方法及增译、分译、转换、句子结构调整等翻译技巧,以期译文在译入语语境中按照译入语接受者期待的方式发生作用,达到译文的交际目的。此外,本文总结了翻译中所汲取的经验和教训,并指出一系列仍待解决的问题,为日后的研究提供指导。
