高速铁路与城市规模扩张——基于中国的实证研究

【摘要】:本文采用多期Differences in Differences(DID)估计方法分析了2007-2010年中国高铁对城市规模扩张的影响。研究表明:高铁对城市规模扩张的影响由2007-2009年的负效应转变为2010年的正效应,并且具有明显的空间溢出效应。充分发挥高铁的城市功能,必须与城市的服务业发展相结合;同时,为避免高速铁路对落后城市发展的负面效应,应率先选择具有分工明确、经济基础较好的城市之间发展高速铁路网,从而构建协调、合理的城市化发展格局。
[Abstract]:In this paper, the effects of high-speed rail on urban expansion in China from 2007 to 2010 are analyzed by using multi-period Differences in Differences (DID) estimation method. The results show that the negative effect of high-speed rail on urban expansion has changed from the negative effect in 2007-2009 to the positive effect in 2010, and it has obvious spatial spillover effect. To give full play to the urban function of high-speed railway, it is necessary to combine it with the development of urban service industry. At the same time, in order to avoid the negative effects of high-speed railway on the development of backward cities, we should take the lead in choosing a clear division of labor. Developing high speed railway network among cities with good economic base, thus constructing a coordinated and reasonable urbanization development pattern.
