外出务工对农村地区教育人力资本积累的影响

【摘要】：随着国民收入的稳步提升,已跨入中等收入国家的中国面临着陷入中等收入陷阱的威胁,而提升教育人力资本水平被公认是跨越中等收入陷阱的关键举措。因此,研究青少年,特别是教育环境受到较大冲击的、有过外出务工经历人员子女的教育人力资本积累问题有着十分重大的意义。据此使用CHIP2013农村部分数据,考察分析了父母外出务工经历对其子女受教育年限的影响。研究结果表明:父母在子女14岁及之前的外出务工经历对子女教育人力资本的积累具有显著的负向影响。相对于没有父母外出经历的子女而言,该人群子女的受教育年限要少近0.23年。与此同时,其获得高中及大学及以上学历的几率低4%。父母的外出务工经历对于子女教育人力资本的积累产生了显著的负向影响。
[Abstract]:With the steady increase of national income, China, which has stepped into the middle-income countries, is facing the threat of falling into the middle-income trap, and raising the level of educational human capital is recognized as the key measure to overcome the middle-income trap. Therefore, it is of great significance to study the accumulation of educational human capital of young people, especially those whose educational environment has been greatly impacted. Based on the data of CHIP2013 in rural areas, the influence of parents' working experience on their children's years of education was investigated and analyzed. The results showed that the working experience of parents at the age of 14 and before had a significant negative effect on the accumulation of human capital in children's education. The number of years of schooling was 0.23 years less than that of children who had no parental experience. At the same time, its high school and college degree and above are less than 4%. The working experience of parents has a significant negative effect on the accumulation of human capital in children's education.
