【摘要】：该翻译实践目的有二:一是让对19世纪资本主义历史有兴趣的读者和专业方向与近代世界史有关的读者了解更多当时的资本主义政治经济状况,二是进一步在翻译实践中体现生态翻译学对学术文本翻译的指导作用。该翻译实践以美国学者思文·贝克特的历史学著作《棉花帝国:一部世界史》的序言部分和第十二章的所有内容为基础进行,所选取的文本类型为学术文本,根据纽马克对文本的分类,翻译实践源文主要为信息类文本,也有部分内容为表达类文本。前者遵循读者第一的原则,后者遵循作者第一的原则。在翻译实践中,以生态翻译学的角度将实践中的问题分为语言维、交际维和文化维三个维度的问题。不同维度的问题可能在原文同一处出现,因此翻译过程中通常对三个维度综合考虑进而实现符合原文和译文生态要求的转换。在此过程中还注意体现“译者中心”理念。通过翻译实践进一步说明生态翻译学的三维转换方法适用于学术文本的英译汉。

The former follows the readers first the principle of the latter, the author follows the first principle. In translation practice, from the perspective of eco translatology will practice the problem is divided into linguistic dimension, communicative and Three dimensions of cultural dimension problem. Different dimensions of the original problem may be in the same area, so in the process of translation are usually the three dimensions into consideration and meet the ecological requirements of the source and target conversion. In this process also reflects the "translator centered" concept. The English translation through the translation practice further explains the three-dimensional transformation method eco translatology is suitable for academic texts of the Han Dynasty.
