好莱坞科幻电影意识形态研究

【摘要】:电影作为一种新生的大众文化和传播方式,其中不可避免地带有意识形态的印痕。好莱坞的科幻电影常以其内容丰富、视觉震撼而深受观众的追捧,但它本身所附着的意识形态内涵常常或隐或显,并在不知不觉中通过大量的影像奇观完成叙事,实现从影片主体到观众主体的替换,用其独有的文化政治逻辑在观众的同声呼应中实现意识形态潜移默化的可能。本文研究好莱坞科幻电影的意识形态是从电影意识形态理论和传播学角度出发,关注好莱坞科幻电影在历史发展过程中的权力运作方式与转变,以及在当下现实语境中的传播方式与策略,探讨好莱坞科幻电影的成功原因和背后的政治隐喻;同时借鉴积极传播、跨文化研究等相关理论,从现象说起,希望能清晰地阐释文本内外的意识形态。 全文共分前言、正文、结语三个部分。 前言部分即引出我的研究命题,概述了好莱坞科幻电影及其意识形态的研究情况,梳理前人所做的研究成果,指出我的论文写作的可行性和必要性,并对论文主要概念即“意识形态”做出解释,特别指出我论文所用的“意识形态”概念主要是根据马克思对意识形态的定义和阿尔都塞有关意识形态国家机器的阐释,并参照曼海姆对意识形态的分类,所以我论文中的意识形态概念是有限定的,主要特指曼海姆笔下的“整体意识形态”。 论文第一章,首先是对好莱坞科幻电影的历史沿革做一概述,然后分两节对好莱坞科幻电影与美国政治、经济、科技和文化的渊源作重点分析,指出要想关注好莱坞科幻电影的内容,必须密切地关注卷入影像生产和市场中的工业和经济过程,以及其政治和文化内涵。 论文第二章,通过选取影片个案,运用电影内容分析和语言分析,对好莱坞科幻电影意识形态在历史发展过程中的权力运作方式与主要特征做深入挖掘,以及探讨在当下现实语境中的好莱坞科幻电影的传播方式与策略;其中涉及好莱坞科幻电影中华人形象转变的分析。 论文第三章,借鉴积极传播理论的研究方法对好莱坞科幻电影意识形态的最终效果作归纳分析,主要分为“整体意识形态的构建”和“作者意识形态的超越”两部分,阐述了好莱坞科幻电影作为美国国家形象的宣传工具的重要性以及部分电影作者尝试突破这一瓶颈所做的努力,这些独立声音的存在正是美国不断实现自我超越的文化渊源。 结语部分是对全文的总结和升华,希望通过研究好莱坞科幻电影的意识形态策略和成功的全球化传播经验为国产电影的市场化、产业化和国际化之路找到可以借鉴、吸收的营养。
[Abstract]:As a new way of mass culture and dissemination, the film inevitably bears the impression of ideology. Hollywood sci-fi films are often popular with the audience for their rich content and visual shock. However, the ideological connotations attached to it are often hidden or explicit, and unconsciously through a large number of image spectacles to complete the narrative, from the film to the main body of the audience to achieve the replacement. Using its unique cultural and political logic to realize the possibility of ideology imperceptibly in the echo of audience. This paper studies the ideology of Hollywood sci-fi film from the angle of film ideology theory and communication theory. Focusing on the power operation and transformation of Hollywood sci-fi films in the course of historical development, as well as the communication methods and strategies in the present realistic context, discusses the reasons for the success of Hollywood sci-fi films and the political metaphors behind them; At the same time, draw lessons from the positive communication, cross-cultural research and other relevant theories, from the phenomenon, hoping to clearly explain the text inside and outside the ideology. The full text is divided into three parts: preface, text and conclusion. The preface leads to my research proposition, summarizes the research situation of Hollywood sci-fi film and its ideology, combs the previous research results, and points out the feasibility and necessity of my thesis writing. And the main concept of the paper is "ideology" to make an explanation. In particular, it points out that the concept of "ideology" used in my thesis is mainly based on Marx's definition of ideology and Althusser's interpretation of ideological state machinery, and refers to Mannheim's classification of ideology. Therefore, the concept of ideology in my thesis is limited, mainly referring to Mannheim's "whole ideology". The first chapter is an overview of the history of Hollywood sci-fi films, then divided into two sections to focus on the Hollywood sci-fi film and American politics, economy, science and technology and culture of the origin of the analysis. It is pointed out that in order to pay attention to the content of Hollywood sci-fi films, it is necessary to pay close attention to the industrial and economic processes involved in the production and market of images, as well as their political and cultural connotations. The second chapter, through the selection of film cases, the use of film content analysis and language analysis, the Hollywood sci-fi film ideology in the historical development of the way and main features of the power to do in-depth excavation. It also discusses the communication methods and strategies of Hollywood sci-fi films in the present realistic context. It involves Hollywood science fiction film Chinese image transformation analysis. In the third chapter, the final effect of the ideology of Hollywood sci-fi film is summarized and analyzed by using the research method of positive communication theory. It is mainly divided into two parts: the construction of the whole ideology and the transcendence of the author's ideology. This paper expounds the importance of Hollywood sci-fi films as a propaganda tool for the national image of the United States and the efforts made by some film writers to break through this bottleneck. The existence of these independent voices is the cultural origin of American self-transcendence. The conclusion part is a summary and sublimation of the full text, hoping to study the ideological strategy of Hollywood sci-fi films and successful global communication experience for the marketization of domestic films. Industrialization and internationalization of the road to find can be used for reference, absorption of nutrition.
