主被动双调Q全固态Ho:YAG激光器研究

【摘要】:2μm波段激光位于人眼安全范围,可以应用于人口密集的区域进行大范围使用。2μm波段在大气中损耗较小,大气透过性能较好,经常应用于光电对抗,激光雷达,医疗,测距等方面。同时,2μm波段激光还可以作为泵浦源泵浦固体中红外光学参量振荡器,可以获得3-12μm范围内的激光输出。因此获得良好的2μm激光输出是具有实际的应用意义的。为了进行了双端泵浦的棒状Ho:YAG激光器的实验研究,我们基于Ho:YAG晶体的吸收光谱确定了Ho:YAG激光器的泵浦波长,由Ho:YAG晶体的发射光谱确定了Ho:YAG激光器的输出波长范围。由于泵浦光对晶体的相互作用会在晶体内部形成热致折射率梯度,因此我们从理论上计算分析了晶体内部的温度分布以及由折射率变化引起的热透镜的热焦距。基于以上理论的计算,进行了双端泵浦的棒状Ho:YAG激光器的实验研究。使用不同透过率的透镜作为输出镜,实验研究了不同的调Q方式,对于激光器输出特性的影响。首先进行了主动电光调Q,在重复频率为1k Hz的情况下,获得了最高的单脉冲能量为17.3m J,脉冲宽度为16.9ns,峰值功率为1.024MW的脉冲输出,属于2μm波段效果较好的输出结果。接下来进行了以Cr2+:Zn S为可饱和吸收体的被动调Q实验,最后进行了主被动双调Q实验,并通过对比三种不同的调Q方式所得到的实验结果,研究了双调Q方式对于脉冲输出激光在脉冲脉宽,峰值功率,输出脉冲波形等方面的影响,通过双调Q将脉宽大幅度压缩,得到的脉冲波形近乎完全对称。
[Abstract]:The 2渭 m-band laser is located in the safe range of human eyes and can be used in a wide range in densely populated areas. 2渭 m-band has a small loss in the atmosphere, good atmospheric permeability, and is often used in optoelectronic countermeasure, lidar, medical treatment, etc. Ranging, etc. At the same time, the 2 渭 m band laser can also be used as a pump source pumped solid-state infrared optical parametric oscillator, and the laser output in the range of 3-12 渭 m can be obtained. Therefore, it is of practical significance to obtain a good 2 渭 m laser output. In order to study the double-end pumped rod-like Ho:YAG laser, we determined the pumping wavelength of the Ho:YAG laser based on the absorption spectra of the Ho:YAG crystal. The output wavelength range of Ho:YAG laser is determined from the emission spectrum of Ho:YAG crystal. Because the interaction of pump light on the crystal will form the thermal refractive index gradient in the crystal, the temperature distribution in the crystal and the thermal focal length of the thermal lens caused by the change of refractive index are calculated and analyzed theoretically. Based on the above-mentioned theoretical calculations, the experimental study of a rod-like Ho:YAG laser with double-end pump is carried out. Using lenses with different transmittance as output mirrors, the effects of different Q-switching modes on the output characteristics of laser are studied experimentally. At first, the active electro-optic Q-switching is carried out. The maximum pulse energy is 17.3J, the pulse width is 16.9ns and the peak power is 1.024MW when the repetition rate is 1k Hz, and the maximum pulse energy is 17.3J, the pulse width is 16.9ns and the peak power is 1.024MW. It belongs to the better output result of 2 渭 m band. Then, the passive Q-switching experiment with Cr2: Zn S as saturable absorber is carried out. Finally, the active-passive double Q-switching experiment is carried out, and the experimental results obtained by three different Q-switching methods are compared. The influence of double Q-switching mode on pulse width, peak power and output pulse waveform of pulse output laser is studied. The pulse width is compressed by double Q-switching, and the pulse waveform is almost completely symmetrical.
