SiC陶瓷常压烧结致密化过程的研究

【摘要】:采用常压烧结法制备了碳化硅陶瓷样品,研究了C的添加量、烧结温度以及粉体粒径对常压烧结碳化硅陶瓷微观结构和性能的影响。结果表明:随着酚醛树脂添加量的增加,碳在材料中的分布更加均匀,材料的致密度提高,力学性能增强。当酚醛树脂添加量到2wt.%时,材料的密度最高,为3.17 g/cm~3,并具有最大的弯曲强度507 MPa。当酚醛树脂添加量大于2wt.%时,出现部分碳化硅颗粒和气孔局部聚集长大,材料的密度与弯曲强度有所降低。Ar气氛保护下,SiC陶瓷的烧结密度和收缩率随烧结温度的升高而增大,至2150℃时,密度达到3.18 g/cm~3,收缩率为17%,随着温度继续升高,收缩率和密度基本保持不变。在2150℃,酚醛树脂添加量为2%的条件下,分别选取单一粉体(D_(50)1.0μm、2.0μm)和粗细混合粉体(比例为4:1)进行试验,发现平均粒径小的混合粉体烧结的SiC陶瓷样品密度和弯曲强度均大于单一粉体制备的样品。
[Abstract]:Silicon carbide ceramic samples were prepared by atmospheric pressure sintering. The effects of C addition, sintering temperature and particle size on the microstructure and properties of silicon carbide ceramics sintered under atmospheric pressure were studied.The results show that with the increase of the content of phenolic resin, the distribution of carbon in the material is more uniform, the density of the material is increased, and the mechanical properties are enhanced.When the phenolic resin was added to 2 wt.%, the density of the material was the highest, 3.17 g / cm ~ (-1), and the maximum bending strength was 507 MPA.When the content of phenolic resin is more than 2wt.%, some sic particles and pores gather and grow locally, and the density and bending strength of sic ceramics increase with the increase of sintering temperature under the protection of atmospheres.At 2150 鈩,
