[Abstract]:Primary and middle school students travel to and from school is an important part of urban commuter travel. The change of this travel mode (increasing the proportion of private cars travel) brings great pressure to urban road traffic. To some extent, the traffic congestion in the city has been aggravated. The study of students' travel behavior and its characteristics will help to solve the urban traffic pressure and improve the students' travel environment. This paper mainly studies the influence of the individual attribute, family attribute and travel characteristic on the students' travel mode, taking the behavior of the primary and middle school students' travel mode of the student's family as the object. Based on the statistical analysis of the survey data and the Nested Logit model in the disaggregate model, a student travel mode selection model is established. The model is divided into two levels, the upper layer is the choice of public transport mode and private transportation mode, and the lower level is the choice of car, electric vehicle, bicycle and walking mode. The model was calibrated and checked with SPSS software to analyze the influence of family factors such as the ownership of family transportation, family income and parents' transportation on students' travel choice. By analyzing the sensitivity of the main factors in the model and combining with the theory of traffic demand management, this paper puts forward the optimization strategy of student travel structure. It provides an important reference for making and implementing the travel demand management policy to alleviate urban traffic congestion.
