瓦记录磁盘驱动器的读写方式研究与优化设计

【摘要】:伴随着数字化进程,,对数字存储系统容量的需求也在同步增加。而传统磁盘是信息的最主要的存储载体之一,但是,受超顺磁等效应的影响,当前磁盘介质的面密度也即将达到上限。瓦记录存储技术的出现,使得磁盘容量的大幅提升成为可能,并可能成为传统磁盘的替代品。利用强大的通道技术,通过不改变原有磁性介质,而是通过在原有的磁盘写头的一侧加入屏蔽层,从而改变其写操作的磁化范围,实现了部分区域的覆盖磁化,来提高实际可磁化的密度。但是,瓦记录存储驱动器的随机写性能十分不理想,也成为了制约其普及的因素。 提出了以STL(Shingle Translation Layer,瓦记录转换层)为核心的方案。提出了将磁盘组织为“区域”、“瓦记录块”及“普通块”三维结构的方案,提升了瓦记录磁盘性能。在映射处理过程中分别采用不同的映射策略提升性能。垃圾回收模块通过特定算法,提高了随机性数据访问的回收效率。在数据迁移模块,提出物理区域划分,提升了磁盘性能。引入瓦记录转换层后掩盖了瓦记录磁盘不能直接更新的特点,透明支持多种通用文件系统。 仿真和测试结果表明,STL方案在使瓦记录磁盘面密度大幅提高的同时,瓦记录磁盘随机写性能接近传统磁盘的25%,连续写请求时表现出较好的性能。
[Abstract]:Along with the digitization process, the demand for the capacity of the digital storage system is also increasing synchronously. The traditional disk is one of the most important storage carriers of information, but it is affected by the effects of superparamagnetism, such as superparamagnetism, and so on. The surface density of current disk media is also about to reach the upper limit. The advent of watt recording storage technology has made it possible to greatly increase disk capacity and may become a substitute for traditional disks. By not changing the original magnetic medium, but by adding a shielding layer to the side of the original disk write head, the magnetization range of its write operation is changed, and the coverage magnetization of some areas is realized, thereby increasing the density of the actual magnetization. The random write performance of the corrugated memory drive is not ideal and has become a constraint to its popularity. Taking STL(Shingle Translation layer as the core, the scheme of organizing the disk into "area", "tile record block" and "ordinary block" is presented. Improved the performance of the tile recording disk. In the process of mapping, we use different mapping strategies to improve the performance. Garbage collection module through a specific algorithm, improve the recovery efficiency of random data access. In the data migration module, Physical area partition is proposed to improve disk performance, and the feature that the tile record disk can not be updated directly is masked by the introduction of the tile record conversion layer, which transparently supports a variety of common file systems. The simulation and test results show that the STL scheme improves the disk surface density greatly, and the random write performance of the tile recording disk is close to that of the traditional disk, which shows good performance when writing requests continuously.
