基于重定向框架的快照设计与实现

【摘要】:伴随着信息技术的发展,数据量呈爆炸式增长,给数据的存储和处理带来了越来越大的挑战。新的技术不断应用到已有的存储系统中,用来扩展存储系统的容量和提高存储系统的性能以及资源利用率。针对这种现状,提出构建一个重定向框架,嵌入丰富的高级存储策略,改善现有的存储系统。初步实现了重定向的框架程序,定义了存储策略的嵌入接口,并实现了一种自定义的快照策略,为现有存储平台提供数据保护功能。 深入研究了几类通用的存储系统架构,提出了实现重定向技术的两种方式:带内和带外。从重定向的视角,分析了多种高级存储特性的实现方案,论证了重定向框架的可行性。改造现有的存储系统,,可以采取带外的方式实现一个重定向框架程序,兼容现有的存储方案,并把对现有系统的改动降到最低。可以灵活地嵌入自动精简配置、重复数据删除、快照等高级存储策略,提高存储平台的可用性和存储资源的利用率。实现了一个独立于存储系统的重定向框架程序。重定向框架明确定义了存储策略的嵌入接口,可以灵活地支持多策略的共生,同时完全兼容现有的存储方案。在重定向框架的基础上,实现了一种自定义的快照存储策略。这种快照策略按照虚拟视图的方式实现,将原始逻辑卷改造成自定义的磁盘格式,能够支持无上限次数的快照,同时存储性能与快照次数无关。 对于实现快照功能的重定向框架进行了相关测试。首先测试了运行空策略的框架程序,结果表明带外实现的框架程序对于现有存储平台的影响很小,对存储策略的支持符合设计指标。然后对快照策略进行了功能和性能的测试,测试结果表明,嵌入重定向框架的快照策略可以正确地完成设计的功能,相关性能符合设计的预期效果。
[Abstract]:With the development of information technology, the amount of data increases explosively, which brings more and more challenges to the storage and processing of data. It is used to expand storage system capacity and improve storage system performance and resource utilization. In view of this situation, a redirection framework is proposed to embed rich advanced storage strategies. The redirected frame program is implemented, the embedded interface of storage policy is defined, and a self-defined snapshot policy is implemented to provide data protection for the existing storage platform. In this paper, several kinds of general storage system architecture are deeply studied, and two ways to realize redirection technology are put forward: in-band and out-of-band. From the perspective of redirection, the realization schemes of various advanced storage characteristics are analyzed. The feasibility of redirect frame is demonstrated. By modifying the existing storage system, a redirect frame program can be implemented in an out-of-band manner, which is compatible with existing storage schemes. And to minimize the changes to the existing system. Flexible embedded automatic reduction configuration, duplicate data deletion, snapshot and other advanced storage strategy, To improve the availability of storage platform and the utilization of storage resources, a redirection framework program independent of storage system is implemented. The redirection framework clearly defines the embedded interface of storage policy, and can flexibly support the coexistence of multiple policies. At the same time, it is fully compatible with the existing storage schemes. On the basis of the redirection framework, a customized snapshot storage strategy is implemented. The snapshot strategy is implemented in the form of virtual view, and the original logical volume is transformed into a custom disk format. Can support unlimited number of snapshots, while the storage performance is independent of the number of snapshots. First, the framework program running empty policy is tested. The results show that the out-of-band framework program has little effect on the existing storage platform. Then the function and performance of the snapshot policy are tested. The test results show that the snapshot policy embedded in the redirect framework can accomplish the designed function correctly. The related performance is in line with the desired effect of the design.
