采用PCI-E Switch结构的高速采样存储技术研究

【摘要】:具有高速采样、长时记录(深存储)、数据反演等特点的高速采样实时存储系统,在国防军事、航空航天和数字通信等领域存在较大的应用需求。采用PCI-E(PCI Express)Switch的结构,本文研究了一种结构合理、成本低廉的高速采样实时记录系统。 文中首先分析了传统高速存储系统的方案,及其存储效率较低的问题。结合PCI-E总线和内存映射等技术,拟定了一种满足设计高速采样需求的深存储系统方案。系统在硬件上划分为采集传输、总线背板、磁盘阵列和主机等功能模块,创新地引入了一个独立于计算机主机的PCI-E Switch背板模块,采样存储模块在物理上均通过总线背板与主机互连,具备良好的扩展、升级特点,系统的散热处理也因此更加合理。 在详细介绍各功能模块的硬件设计原理的同时,结合高速电路设计中所遇到的问题,讨论了设计修正和解决的措施,包括PCI-E Switch多个串行总线的设计,高速板的叠层设计,以及高速微带线信号线布走线等。 软件系统方面,基于VC++环境及PLX公司所提供的SDK,完成了仪器驱动设计,以及高速存储系统的存储控制应用程序;其中,利用环形缓冲区设计、多线程技术、Block DMA以及内存映射技术,实现了高速实时存储系统的应用软件的设计。在应用程序的数据反演部分,基于VC++与Measurement Studio开发平台进行设计开发,,控制界面提供了光标定位和显示图像缩放等功能以帮助用户更加直观的对存储数据进行搜索观察,方便对指定数据的读取。 目前,完成了高速存储系统的软硬件设计和调试,满足对高速采样数据的持续传输存储的设计需求。通过长时间测试,系统运行稳定并且存储数据真实完整,单个PCI-E通道的持续记录速度达170MB/s,存储深度可达1TB。
[Abstract]:High-speed sampling real-time storage system with the characteristics of high-speed sampling, long time recording (deep storage, data retrieval, etc.) has great application needs in the fields of national defense, military affairs, aerospace and digital communication. Using the structure of PCI-E(PCI Express)Switch, this paper studies a high-speed sampling real-time recording system with reasonable structure and low cost. In this paper, the scheme of traditional high-speed storage system and its low storage efficiency are analyzed. Combined with PCI-E bus and memory mapping technology, a deep storage system scheme is developed to meet the requirement of high speed sampling. The system is divided into collection and transmission module, bus backplane module, disk array module, host module and so on. A PCI-E Switch backplane module which is independent of the computer host is introduced. The sampling storage module is physically interconnected with the host through the bus backplane, which has the characteristics of good expansion and upgrade, so the heat dissipation of the system is more reasonable. While introducing the hardware design principle of each function module in detail, combining the problems encountered in the high-speed circuit design, this paper discusses the design correction and solution measures, including the design of multiple serial buses of PCI-E Switch, the laminated design of high speed board, And high-speed microstrip line signal wiring, and so on. In the aspect of software system, based on VC environment and SDK provided by PLX, the design of instrument driver and the storage control program of high-speed storage system are completed, in which, the ring buffer is used to design, Block DMA and memory mapping technology are used to design the application software of high speed real time storage system. In the data retrieval part of the application program, based on VC and Measurement Studio development platform, the control interface provides the functions of cursor positioning and image zooming to help users to search and observe the stored data more intuitively. Facilitates reading of specified data. At present, the hardware and software design and debugging of the high speed storage system are completed, which meet the design requirements for the continuous transmission and storage of the high speed sampling data. After a long period of testing, the system runs stably and the storage data is real and complete. The continuous recording speed of a single PCI-E channel is up to 170 MB / s, and the storage depth can reach 1 TB / s.
