打印机嵌入式计算机关键技术研究

【摘要】:普通打印机的USB接口为USB从口,打印机只能作为USB从设备,接收PC机通过USB接口传来的数据,无法实现无PC机USB接口直接打印,,给用户的使用带来不便。 本文主要研究打印机的嵌入式计算机,可支持移动存储设备中图像数据的直接打印。首先,设计了一个基于ARM11和FPGA的打印机嵌入式计算机,利用ARM11内置的USB主机接口,实现主动读取U盘、移动硬盘等移动存储设备中的图像信息。其次,通过对误差扩散算法研究,利用丰富的硬件资源,采用查找表来替代乘法运算,在FPGA内部使用硬件描述语言实现误差扩散法IP核,同时采用流水线设计方案,每个时钟周期即可计算一个像素点的半色调值,提高了系统的执行效率。最后,通过对跳白块编码算法的改进,在FPGA内部设计跳白块编码改进算法IP核,减少了存储空间,支持多拷贝打印。 本文通过对打印机嵌入式计算机及相应关键技术的深入研究,实现了打印机USB接口直接打印,满足了系统设计的初衷。
[Abstract]:The USB interface of ordinary printer is USB slave port. The printer can only be used as USB slave device to receive data from PC through USB interface. It can not print directly without USB interface of PC, which brings inconvenience to users. This paper mainly studies the embedded computer of printer, which can support the direct printing of image data in removable storage device. Firstly, a printer embedded computer based on ARM11 and FPGA is designed. By using the USB host interface built into ARM11, we can read the image information from the U disk and the mobile hard disk. Secondly, through the research of error diffusion algorithm, using abundant hardware resources, using lookup table to replace multiplication operation, using hardware description language to realize error diffusion IP core in FPGA, and adopting pipeline design scheme at the same time. Each clock cycle can calculate the halftone value of a pixel, which improves the efficiency of the system. Finally, through the improvement of the white block hopping coding algorithm, the IP core of the white block hopping coding improved algorithm is designed in FPGA, which reduces the storage space and supports multi-copy printing. In this paper, the printer USB interface is directly printed through the deep research of the printer embedded computer and the corresponding key technology, which satisfies the original intention of the system design.
