服务转型背景下戴尔公司服务器产品竞争策略研究

【摘要】:当今的中国企业级服务器市场中机遇和挑战并存。一方面,服务器产品的功能同质化现象严重,市场中充斥着各种功能类似,但不同品牌的服务器产品。这将将导致该产品的利润空间不断下滑,使得原本功能就标准化的服务器制造产业将无利可图。另一方面,云计算、大数据等信息化应用新增长点的出现,又扩大了原本萎靡不振的服务器市场需求。这使得原本增长速度就不快的服务器市场中的竞争变得越发激烈。在这样的市场形势下,如何体现出差异化的竞争策略,在扩大市场份额与保持利润之间保持平衡,是每一个服务器供应商都面临的抉择。 本文正是在这样的市场形势背景下,基于戴尔公司转型前后的变化,对戴尔公司的差异化竞争策略在服务器市场上表现的变化,做了一次深入的调查分析。首先,论文从戴尔公司的转型动机和目标入手进行分析,通过对当前戴尔公司在产品线、内部组织结构上所完成的变革做出总结和归纳。其次,分析了中国服务器企业市场当前的竞争状况,同时对未来的服务器市场的趋势做了宏观预测。佐证了戴尔公司和其他竞争对手在服务器市场中现在处在的位置。最后,通过SWOT分析有针对性地为戴尔公司如何发挥自身优势,扬长避短在服务器市场的发挥竞争优势提出了建议。希望戴尔公司在中国的企业级服务器市场中,能够更加适应未来市场的变化和发展。
[Abstract]:Opportunities and challenges coexist in today's Chinese enterprise server market. On the one hand, the function homogeneity of server products is serious, and the market is full of server products with similar functions, but different brands. This will lead to declining profit margins for the product, making the server manufacturing industry, which is already functionally standardized, unprofitable. On the other hand, the emergence of new growth points such as cloud computing, big data and other information applications has expanded the original flagging server market demand. This makes the competition in the server market, which is not growing fast, more and more intense. In such a market situation, how to reflect the differentiated competition strategy and maintain the balance between expanding market share and maintaining profit is the choice faced by every server supplier. In this paper, under the background of such a market situation, based on the changes before and after the transformation of Dell Company, this paper makes an in-depth investigation and analysis on the performance of Dell's differentiated competition strategy in the server market. First of all, the paper analyzes the transformation motivation and objectives of Dell Company, and summarizes and sums up the current changes in the product line and internal organizational structure of Dell Company. Secondly, the current competition situation of Chinese server enterprise market is analyzed, and the trend of server market in the future is forecasted macroscopically. This confirms the current position of Dell and other competitors in the server market. Finally, through SWOT analysis, this paper puts forward some suggestions on how to give full play to Dell's own advantages and how to give full play to its competitive advantages in the server market. It is hoped that Dell will be able to adapt to the changes and development of the future market in the enterprise server market in China.
