完整基因表达模型中的精确概率分布

【摘要】:基因表达是细胞内部过程的中心环节,其建模与分析一直是人们关注的焦点.转录水平上的两类代表性基因表达模型(即构成式表达模型和爆发式表达模型)已经被广泛研究,特别是m RNA的分布已经解析地给出,但对于同时考虑转录和翻译的完整基因表达模型,如何解析地导出m RNA和蛋白质的分布以及它们的联合分布的问题至今未得到解决.本文应用作者自己发展起来的二项矩方法解决了此数学问题,尤其是给出了基因产物分布及有关统计量的解析表示.此外,本文还讨论了基因表达噪声的可调性.
[Abstract]:Gene expression is the central part of the cell internal process, its modeling and analysis has been the focus of attention. Two types of representative gene expression models at transcriptional level (i.e. constitutive expression model and explosive expression model) have been widely studied, especially the distribution of m RNA has been analytically given. However, the problem of how to deduce the distribution of m RNA and protein and their joint distribution has not been solved yet for the complete gene expression model considering both transcription and translation. In this paper, this mathematical problem is solved by using the binomial moment method developed by the authors themselves, especially the analytical representation of the distribution of gene products and related statistics. In addition, the tunability of gene expression noise is discussed.
