“力矩”一词的前世今生

【摘要】：首先介绍了古人对"力矩"概念的理解和描述,然后梳理了"力矩"一词在西方的发展脉络,接着又分析了"力矩"一词在中国产生的历史和原因.伽利略首先用"momento(意大利语)"一词表示力对物体转动效应的概念;1830年,卡特和拉德纳引入了"moment of force"这一名词;1859年,李善兰与艾约瑟合译《重学》时曾将"moment"一词翻译成"重距积";1904年,中国学者伍光建最早使用"力矩"一词;1932年,萨本栋编成《物理学名词汇》,确定将"moment"译为"矩,转矩".
[Abstract]:This paper first introduces the ancient understanding and description of the concept of "moment", then combs the development of the word "moment" in the West, and then analyzes the history and causes of the emergence of the word "moment" in China. Galileo first used the word "momento" to describe the effect of force on the rotation of objects; in 1830, Carter and Ladner introduced the term "moment of force"; In 1859, Li Shanlan and Joseph Needham translated the word "moment" into "heavy product", and in 1904, Wu Guangjian, a Chinese scholar, first used the word "moment". In 1932, Sabindong compiled the term "physical nouns" and decided to translate "moment" into "moment, torque".
