“发酵农业”或将解决人类温饱问题

【摘要】：正6月3日,在上海自然博物馆(上海科技馆分馆)举行的"绿螺讲堂·新问题沙龙"上,中科院院士、华大基因研究院理事长杨焕明表示,"发酵农业"未来或将解决人类的温饱问题。杨焕明说,所谓"发酵农业",即利用合成基因组学技术,在发酵罐里合成水稻、小麦、玉米等粮食以及各种蔬菜,使农业不再靠天吃饭,给酵母喂糠就行。今年3月,《科学》杂志以封面、专刊的形式发表了关于"人工合成酵母基因组计划"论文。中国、美国、英国等国的多家研究机构参与这项计划,其中中国团队完成了总工作量的2/3。"人
[Abstract]:On June 3, the Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, at the Shanghai Museum of Nature (branch of the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum), held a "Salon of New problems of the Green Spiral Lecture Hall," Yang Huanming, director of the Institute of Genetics at Huadu, said fermenting agriculture could solve the problem of food and clothing in the future. Yang Huanming said that the so-called "fermentative agriculture," that is, using synthetic genomics technology to synthesize rice, wheat, corn, and other grains and various vegetables in fermenting pots, will stop agriculture from relying on heaven for food, and feed the yeast with chaff. In March, Science published a paper on the synthetic yeast Genome Project in the form of a cover and special issue.
