【摘要】:ATLAS(A Toroidal LHC Apparatus)探测器是位于瑞士日内瓦的欧洲核子研究中心建造的大型强子对撞机LHC(Large Hadron Collider)的四个实验之一,ATLAS合作组决定在2018年进行Phase I升级,其主要任务是研制Muon谱仪端盖NSW(New Small Wheel)新型探测器系统,并全面升级作为物理分析第一道保障的触发子系统。升级后的探测器与EML(Endcap Middle Layer)探测器一起构成完整的触发系统,可以有效排除端盖磁铁带来的误触发。在NSW Phase I升级中,中国科技大学承担sTGC(small Thin Gap Chamber)探测器前端电子学FEB(Front-End Board)的研制和大规模生产任务。FEB历经设计生产、调试测试、束流测试、在ATLAS NSW上的安装以及随后的实际测试等多个环节,这些环节涉及众多关键信息,它们与ATLAS探测器最终的物理数据分析具有重大的关系与影响。ATLAS sTGC FEB数据管理系统的建立就是为了存储并管理FEB的所有重要信息并为ATLAS探测器的物理数据分析提供数据支持。此外,ATLAS合作组的其他成员也在建立他们的数据管理系统,而各合作组之间存在大量协作任务以及关联数据,FEB数据管理系统需要能够与这些合作组的数据管理系统进行有效的交互。本论文从FEB开发工程管理的角度出发,分析了 FEB开发工程中涉及到的信息,结合ATLAS合作组之间对数据库交互的需求,以向ATLAS探测器未来的物理数据分析提供数据支持和运营服务为目的,分类、分层次地设计了 FEB数据管理系统,建立了两个相关而独立的数据库,分别存储FEB的开发信息与测试信息。在数据库表结构设计完成后,还设计了应用程序来实际应用数据库,提供了完善的数据库操作功能。此外,还对数据管理系统进行了多方面的测试。目前,该数据管理系统已经有效应用于ATLAS sTGC FEB的实际数据存储与管理中。本论文的创新点集中表现在如下几个方面:1.本文开创性地设计了数据库管理系统来管理FEB开发工程并为ATLAS NSW实验提供运营服务。2.在数据管理系统的设计中,注意了关键信息的存储与维护,完成了与ATLAS整体数据库的交互,构成了 ATLAS MUON NSW数据管理系统的一个组成部分,为整个ATLAS项目组提供服务。3.在数据库的逻辑设计中,创新性地建立了两个相关而独立的数据库,摈弃了拥有繁多数据库表的死板结构,仅仅通过逻辑关联紧密的几个表来存储数据,层次结构清晰,逻辑性强,有效地避免了数据的混乱。
[Abstract]:The ATLAS(A Toroidal LHC Apparatusis is one of four experiments at the LHC(Large Hadron Collider, built by the European Center for Nuclear Research in Geneva, Switzerland. The ATLAS team decided to upgrade the Phase I in 2018. Its main task is to develop a new type of detector system for Muon spectrometer end cover NSW(New Small detector, and upgrade it as the first trigger subsystem of physical analysis. The upgraded detector, together with the EML(Endcap Middle layer detector, constitutes a complete trigger system. In the upgrade of NSW Phase I, the University of Science and Technology of China is responsible for the research and development of sTGC(small Thin Gap Chamber detector front-end electronics and mass production. Feb has been designed and manufactured, debugging and testing, beam current testing, etc. Installation on ATLAS NSW and subsequent actual testing, all of which involve a lot of critical information, They have great relationship and influence with the final physical data analysis of ATLAS detectors. The ATLAS sTGC FEB data management system was established to store and manage all important information of FEB and to provide physical data analysis for ATLAS detectors. Data support. The FEB data management system is designed, and two independent databases are established to store the development information and test information of FEB. After the design of the database table structure is finished, the application program is designed to apply the database. Provides the perfect database operation function. In addition, has carried on the multi-aspect test to the data management system. The data management system has been effectively applied to the actual data storage and management of ATLAS sTGC FEB.
