基于图像二值化的3D打印

  本文介绍了一种用3D打印机打印图像的方法,该方法可以让用户获得任意一张图片双色的立体模型。我们将二值图转换成3维模型,导入到3D打印机的软件中,生成可被打印机识别的工作指令,依照指令,打印机便能自动制造出模型。我们首先利用非真实感图像渲染技术将输入图像转换成黑白色调的二值图,接着用线刻画方法提取图像特征并且将其与原始图像的黑白色块结合,从而产生整洁的且边界光滑的大片黑白色块。然后将上述二值图像转换成适合3D打印的3维模型,这一步可看作将图像的黑色区域提取出来并将其转换成3维模型,也就是说,我们只对黑色块进行Delaunay三角化,所获得的模型只包含二值图像的黑色部分,而白色部分是空的。实际上,黑色部分已经包含了图像的有用信息,包括其特征,结构和形状。最后,我们用不同颜色的材料打印上述黑色部分和承载该色块的背景区域,在打印成品中,我们可以透过黑色块间的空洞看到背景区域的颜色。至此,我们得到二值图像的3D打印结果,二值图中的黑白色调部分在成品中均有所体现。本文的贡献是提出了一种将二值图的黑色区域转换成适用于3D打印的多边形的启发式算法。这里,图像的二值化算法是另一篇文章的工作,虽然它并非本...
