用于三体系统玻色-爱因斯坦关联的事件混合方法

【摘要】:玻色-爱因斯坦关联(BEC)可以用于测量粒子出射区的时间空间性质,事件混合方法是用于观测BEC效应的常用手段,对于相对论能区重离子碰撞等可以产生大量全同末态粒子的反应,这种方法具有独特优势.但是对于末态粒子数非常有限的反应,守恒关系、共振态和一些其他原因引起的关联,对事件混合方法产生不可忽视的干扰,事件混合在消除玻色-爱因斯坦关联的同时也消除了其他所有的关联,严重制约了BEC研究.本文探索一种适合末态只有两个全同玻色子的三体反应系统的事件混合方法,提出了五种可行的事件混合限制条件,采用数值模拟研究了不同限制条件对事件混合的效果,甄别出最优的限制条件.测试结果显示,当要求混合事件的丢失质量与原始反应一致,并将原始事件样本中玻色子能量高于某一给定值的事件剔除掉,这种限制条件下得到的事件混合结果最优,可以用于观测BEC效应.另外,要求两个交换玻色子的方位角一致时得到的结果也较优,相比前者,此限制条件不需要删除一部分事件,可以得到更好的统计误差.
[Abstract]:Bose-Einstein correlation (bec) can be used to measure the temporal and spatial properties of the exiting region of particles. The event-mixing method is commonly used to observe the bec effect. For relativistic energy region heavy ion collisions and other reactions can produce a large number of fully identical particles, this method has a unique advantage. But for the very limited number of final particles, the conserved relation, the resonance, and some other causes, there is no negligible interference with the event-mixing method. Event mixing eliminates the Bose-Einstein association and eliminates all other associations, seriously constraining bec research. In this paper, an event-mixing method suitable for a three-body reaction system with only two fully identical bosons in the final state is explored. Five feasible event-mixing constraints are proposed, and the effects of different limiting conditions on the event-mixing are studied by numerical simulation. Identify the optimal constraints. The test results show that when the loss quality of the mixed event is consistent with the original response, and the event whose boson energy is higher than a given value in the original event sample is eliminated, the mixed result of the event is optimal under this condition. It can be used to observe bec effect. In addition, the result obtained when the azimuth of two exchange bosons is the same is better. Compared with the former, this restriction condition does not need to delete some events, so it can get better statistical error.
