对外贸易对区域制造业集聚的影响

【摘要】：对外贸易与产业集聚一直以来均是经济学界研究的热点问题,自新经济地理学诞生以来,对外贸易与产业集聚之间的互动关联更是掀起了产业组织关系理论的新一轮研究热情。制造业是中国国民经济发展的重要支柱产业,具有举足轻重的地位,而对外贸易更是拉动我国经济增长的“三驾马车”之一。为了论证中国现实经济形势下,对外贸易对区域制造业空间集聚的影响,本文在新经济地理学与新贸易理论的基础上,通过构架对外贸易与产业集聚的互动机制,分时段、从不同空间尺度对中国对外贸易与区域制造业集聚水平的演变趋势进行了测度,并实证检验了对外贸易对区域制造业空间集聚的影响,并提出结论与相关政策建议。本文的研究内容主要包括:(1)将对外贸易与产业集聚的理论与文献研究进行归纳与总结,探讨了对外贸易与产业集聚之间的互动机制,为下文的深入研究奠定理论基础。(2)从总体和区域两个视角,分别研究了对外贸易的发展趋势,并对于对外贸易的方式、结构等进行了简单的测度与分析;从区域和行业两个视角,分别研究了区域制造业空间集聚水平的演变路径。(3)通过构建动态面板模型,重点检验了对外贸易对于中国区域制造业集聚的正向作用,并在对相关文献梳理的基础上,分析了影响区域制造业集聚的其它重要因素,并利用系统GMM的方法估计了其它影响因素对于区域制造业集聚的影响程度与作用方向。结果表明交通运输条件、金融发展水平、人力资本禀赋以及国内市场潜力对于区域制造业的空间集聚具有正向积极作用,而税收政策却对产业的空间地理集中具有显著的负向作用。(4)在前文理论与现实分析的前提下,通过实证检验表明,对外贸易与区域制造业集聚之间存在着倒U型的非线性关系。然而,对外贸易对区域制造业集聚依然呈现为正向影响,主要是由于样本中大部分省市的对外贸易都位于倒U型曲线的左侧。
[Abstract]:Since the birth of new economic geography, the interaction between foreign trade and industrial agglomeration has set off a new round of research enthusiasm in the theory of industrial organization relationship. Manufacturing industry is an important pillar industry in the development of China's national economy, and foreign trade is one of the "troika" that drives China's economic growth. In order to demonstrate the influence of foreign trade on the spatial agglomeration of regional manufacturing industry under the current economic situation in China, this paper, on the basis of the new economic geography and the new trade theory, sets up the interactive mechanism between foreign trade and industrial agglomeration, and divides the period into periods. This paper measures the evolution trend of China's foreign trade and regional manufacturing agglomeration level from different spatial scales, and empirically tests the influence of foreign trade on regional manufacturing spatial agglomeration, and puts forward some conclusions and relevant policy recommendations. The main contents of this paper are as follows: (1) the theory and literature of foreign trade and industrial agglomeration are summarized and the interaction mechanism between foreign trade and industrial agglomeration is discussed. (2) from the general and regional perspectives, the development trend of foreign trade is studied, and the mode and structure of foreign trade are simply measured and analyzed. From the perspective of region and industry, the evolution path of spatial agglomeration level of regional manufacturing industry is studied respectively. (3) by constructing dynamic panel model, the positive effect of foreign trade on regional manufacturing agglomeration in China is tested emphatically, and the dynamic panel model is constructed to test the positive effect of foreign trade on regional manufacturing agglomeration in China. On the basis of combing the relevant literatures, this paper analyzes other important factors that influence regional manufacturing agglomeration, and estimates the degree and direction of influence of other influencing factors on regional manufacturing agglomeration by using the method of systematic GMM. The results show that transportation conditions, financial development level, human capital endowment and domestic market potential play a positive role in the spatial agglomeration of regional manufacturing industry. But the tax policy has a significant negative effect on the spatial geographic concentration of the industry. (4) on the premise of the theoretical and practical analysis above, the empirical test shows that: There is an inverse U-shaped nonlinear relationship between foreign trade and regional manufacturing agglomeration. However, foreign trade still has a positive impact on regional manufacturing agglomeration, mainly because most of the provinces and cities in the sample are on the left side of the inverted U-shaped curve.
