国外医学和社会科学英文学术期刊“编辑导读”语类分析

学术期刊是学术研究成果的重要载体,是及时传播学术研究成果的一种重要形式,它既为学者们提供了及时发表和了解研究成果的机会,也提供了进行学术交流和学术争鸣、辩论的园地。西方英文学术期刊除了学术论文,还包含编辑导读、读者来信、书评、新闻栏等语类,它们在学术团体成员间的交流中也起着不容忽视的作用。近年来,越来越多的学者对学术论文的体裁进行了较为全面而深入的研究,但对其它几个语类的研究却相当有限,所以本文选择编辑导读为研究对象,旨在找出并分析其宏观结构及主要语言特点,以及学科差异对其的影响。本研究从国外英文学术期刊中首先选取4种医学类期刊,时间跨度为2002年至2007年,然后从中选取了36篇编辑导读组成语料库MC。随后以同样的方法选取4种社会科学类期刊,然后从中选取36篇编辑导读,组成语料库SSC。在对这72篇编辑导读进行体裁分析时运用了Swales （1990）的语步分析方法对各语义单位进行分析,同时对分析的结果用SPSS进行统计,计算出各自语步出现的频数,然后对其中的差异进行讨论,最后从词汇层面进行分析比较,初步探讨了编辑导读的宏观体裁结构和词汇特征。研究结果显示两个语料库中的编辑导读都有...
