In spite of the dangerous situation in which the Japanese invaders are about to launch an all-out war of aggression against China, Jiang Jieshi strictly ordered the Central Red Army to carry out a "encirclement and suppression campaign" against the Central Red Army, which had just arrived in northern Shaanxi, in an attempt to wipe out the Communist Party of China and the Chinese Workers and Peasants Red Army. On November 29, 1935, North Shaanxi is a rich county. Having just been freed from his cell by Jia Tuofu, Wang Feng, then secretary of the CPC Shaanxi Provincial military Committee and acting political commissar of the Red 26 Army of the Northern Shaanxi Red Army, hurried to the East Village of Tuotong Yuan, regardless of his tired body.
