【摘要】：作为英国女权主义运动的反题,20世纪英国反女性选举权运动,源于当时的社会背景,也源于两性分域的保守主义观念。1889年《反对妇女选举权呼吁书》的发布,是这个运动兴起的标志。英国全国反妇女选举权同盟的建立,以及大批男性公众人物的加入,推动了这个运动。在随后的近三十年时间里,反女权主义运动与女权主义运动相互作用,在街头、媒体与议会各个层面,寻求签名支持,展开激烈辩论。第一次世界大战妇女在英国社会的杰出表现,为女性选举权的获得提供了基础。随着《人民代表权法》获得通过和女性选举权的获得,反女性选举权运动也随之结束。
[Abstract]:The Anti-Feminist campaign in Britain in the 20th Century originated from the social background at that time, as well as from the conservative concept of the gender division. The publication of the Appeal against Women's right to vote in 1889. A sign of the rise of the movement. The establishment of the National League against Women's right to vote and the participation of a large number of male public figures contributed to the movement. The anti-feminist movement interacted with the feminist movement, seeking signature support and heated debate on the streets, in the media and at all levels of Parliament. With the adoption of the people's Rights Act and the acquisition of women's right to vote, the anti-female vote movement ended.
