【摘要】：本文探讨了20世纪中叶以前中国社会的老人赡养问题,认为中国传统的法律规定了子孙的养老责任,独特的家庭结构则为子孙履行赡养义务提供了方便。在传统中国社会,"养儿防老"的观念在人们的生活中得到切实的体现,这种养老方式不仅影响到人们对于人生的态度,也影响到财富的积累和人口的增长。
[Abstract]:This paper discusses the maintenance of the elderly in Chinese society before the middle of the 20th century, and holds that the traditional Chinese law stipulates the responsibility of the children for the aged, and the unique family structure provides convenience for the children to carry out the duty of support. In the traditional Chinese society, the concept of "raising children and preventing old age" has been embodied in people's life. This way of providing for the aged not only affects people's attitude towards life, but also affects the accumulation of wealth and the growth of population.
