网络环境下美国公民参与研究

【摘要】：当前互联网的重要地位更加凸显,几乎每个人都能感受到互联网对生活方方面面的影响。随着互联网作用的提升,网络也在改变着美国人参与公民活动的方式。互联网是如何影响美国公民的公民生活呢?在不断演变的美国公民参与中,互联网又扮演着什么样的角色呢?对于这些问题,并没有黑白分明的答案。事实上,互联网所包含的用途和功能多种多样,我们需要更加细致地理解互联网对美国公民参与的影响。同时,我们也应该认识到互联网为美国人的公民行为提供了网络参与的渠道。美国是世界上最具活力的民主国家之一。美国的民主建立在公民对本国社会和政治事务广泛参与的基础之上。公民文化是美国社会结构中必不可少的组成部分,而公民参与也随着美国社会的发展逐渐演变。这篇论文基于使用与满足理论以及媒介系统依赖理论,试图分析作为新媒体的网络对美国公民参与的影响。文章最后得出结论,尽管网络可能会带来某些消极影响,互联网对美国公民参与却有着积极的作用。
