西夏佛教艺术中的“家窟”与“公共窟”——瓜州榆林窟第29窟供养人的构成再探

【摘要】:此文重新检索了榆林窟第29窟供养人的身份构成,认为此窟的性质是一个有浓重官方背景的"公共窟"而非通常认为的"家窟"。西夏占领河西走廊西端的瓜沙地区之后,统治该地区数百年之久的当地世家大族受到残酷战争的重创,已经无力继续作为开窟造像的中坚力量而被西夏政权的高官新贵所取代。西夏文武官员集合财力权力开创新窟,使瓜沙地区的西夏石窟具有了与前代佛窟不同的性质和功能。
[Abstract]:This paper researches the identity of the providers of the 29th Grottoes of Yulin Grottoes, and considers that the nature of the Grottoes is a "public cave" with a strong official background rather than a "family cave". After Xixia occupied the Guasha area at the western end of the Hexi Corridor, the local patriarchs who had ruled the region for hundreds of years had been hard hit by the cruel war, and could no longer continue to be replaced by the upper-ranking officials of the Xixia regime as the backbone of the grottoes. The Xixia Wushu officials set up new grottoes by pooling their financial power, which made the Xixia grottoes in Guasha area have different nature and function from those of the previous Buddhism grottoes.
