[Abstract]:This paper makes a study of the materials unearthed from the burial pits in the Yangling cemetery of Emperor Hanjingdi, and then holds that all kinds of materials and inscriptions, located on the eastern side of the earth seal of Yangling, all imply that the near courtiers who serve the emperor, with Zongzheng and the few governments as the center, are all implicated in the service of the emperor. A group of eunuchs and maids designed to allow the emperor's soul to live in the world of underground palaces. The carts and horses placed from the graves symbolize the "plot" of the emperor's soul touring the four sides. The materials unearthed in the southern part of the mausoleum not only show the troops used to protect the imperial mausoleum, but may also symbolize the emperor's soul, depending on the Cha Ma located on the eastern side of the imperial mausoleum, cruising to the "walking palace" symbolized by the burial pit in the southern part of the cemetery. The performance of the southern district against the caravan and horse ranks from the burial pits may imply a scene of daily inspection and vigilance by senior officers in the "Palace of Walking". They also become a part of the Yangmausoleum cemetery showing the capital Changan and even the Western Han Dynasty.
