【摘要】:正《汉书·王莽传》颜师古注云:"京师仓在华阴灌北渭口也。"乾隆《同州府志·古迹》载:"京师仓在华阴县东。"京师仓是西汉时期建造的一座大型储粮仓库,位于黄河与渭河交汇处附近,主要储存从关东运往京师长安的粮食。具体位置在今华阴市硝峪乡段家城村北,西泉店村南的瓦碴梁上。仓址所在地属于渭河南岸二级阶地,高出河滩50余米。其东有凤凰岭,北临渭河,南面和西面有白龙涧河环绕,过白龙涧河即是孟塬和华山山地。可以看出,京师仓选址在一面依山、三面临崖、地势高敞和形势险要之处。这种情况当与建仓时考虑到防卫等问题有关。《汉书·王莽传》载,西汉末年,农民起义军西入关中,首先与王莽军队展开了一场争夺京师仓的战斗,王莽派三虎将守保京师仓,农民军不能取胜,只好移兵他处。这场战斗,一方面反映了京师仓战略地位的重要,而农民军不能取胜,又反映了京
