【摘要】：正中国各地茶馆不少,因国人都有品茶的习惯,因此各地茶馆之多也不足为奇了。但茶馆的种类,大都单一,而昔日北京天桥之茶馆,不仅多而且种类丰富,规模之大,非各地所比,且都很有特色……在清末道光年以前,天桥真正称之茶馆的不多,大都是茶摊,即用木板搭的桌子,用白、兰布一铺,设二、三条板凳,茶客逛天桥走累了,走渴了,坐在这里饮茶歇腿而矣!另外就是卖大碗茶的散户,用扁担挑着,一边是大茶壶,一边是一条柳条筐,里边放着粗瓷大碗,喝大碗茶的,都是劳动人民,大碗茶的茶叶是次品,人们蹲着喝上两三碗,花钱少许。大茶壶的水又热又浓,大茶壶用一层棉布包着,可以保温,两碗浓茶入肚,渴累全消,扔下少许零钱,欣然而去。自道光末年至民国中期,天桥经济繁荣,游人众多,陆续在天桥一带开张
