千年古刹白云寺

【摘要】：正坐落在民权县城西南20公里的白云寺,建于唐贞观年间,是中州四大名寺之一。1986年被列为河南省重点文物保护单位。据传兴建寺院时,正值夏季三伏,酷热难当,工匠们个个汗流浃背,青砖方瓦晒得烫手,无法正常施工。正要停工时,赤日炎炎的天空忽现白云一朵,飘至寺院上空,如巨伞遮住骄阳,使工匠们在阴凉下得以施工。直到寺院建成后,白云方才散去。寺院因此得名"白云寺"。寺内曾有五大佛殿、钟鼓二楼,还有藏经楼和禅房等,计房舍千余间,占地500亩。该寺在清康熙年间香火旺盛,有僧侣800余人。康熙曾三次亲临白云寺。刻于山门之阴的"当堂
[Abstract]:The Baiyun Temple, located 20 kilometers southwest of Minquan County, was built during the Tang Dynasty and is one of the four famous monasteries in Zhongzhou. It was listed as a key cultural relic protection unit in Henan Province in 1986. It is said that when the temple was built, it was three volts in the summer, and the craftsmen were all sweating. When work was about to stop, a white cloud suddenly appeared in the hot sky, floating over the temple, such as a giant umbrella to cover the sun, so that the craftsmen can work in the shade. It was not until the temple was built that the clouds dispersed. The temple was therefore named Baiyun Temple. There were five Buddhist temples, the second floor of the bell drum, as well as the collection of scriptures and Zen rooms, more than 1000 houses, covering an area of 500 mu. The temple in the Qing Dynasty Kangxi years exuberant incense, there are more than 800 monks. Kangxi visited Baiyun Temple three times in person.
