【摘要】：正北京钟楼和鼓楼是古都北京南北中轴线北端起点的两个单体建筑物,为元、明、清三代都城的报时中心。全国重点文物保护单位。位于地安门大街北端。钟楼在北,鼓楼在南,占地约13000平方米。1925年在鼓楼成立京兆通俗教育馆,楼上展出八国联军入侵北京时屠杀人民和抢劫财物的图片、实物与模型。1946年鼓楼为北平市立第一民众教育馆。中华人民共和国成立后更名为北京市第一人民文
[Abstract]:The bell tower and the drum tower in Beijing are two single buildings starting from the northern end of the central axis of the north and south of the ancient capital, which are the time reporting centers of the capital cities of Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. National key cultural relics protection units. It is located at the north end of Di'anmen Street. The bell tower is in the north and the drum tower is in the south, covering an area of about 13000 square meters. In 1925, the Beijing Zhaozi popular Education Museum was set up in the Gulou, where pictures of the massacre and looting of people and property during the invasion of Beijing by the allied forces of the eight powers were displayed.
