The existing the Great Wall at the gate of Jiumen was expanded in Ming Hongwu in 14 years (1381), with a total length of 1704 meters, the length of the city bridge being 97.4 meters, and the Jiujiang River spanning more than 100 meters, enjoying the laudable title of "the Great Wall on water." in September 1984, Comrade Deng Xiaoping issued a call for "Love me, China, repair my the Great Wall."
