功能对等视角下《老龄化》(节选)翻译实践报告

本翻译实践报告的翻译材料节选自《老龄化》一书,根据奈达的功能对等理论,笔者对该文本中的汉译方法从词、句、篇和风格层面入手做了案例分析。功能对等理论认为翻译最重要的是传达信息,以最自然贴切的语言传达源文本意义并再现原文本的风格。依据功能对等理论,本文在词汇层面探讨了专有名词的翻译,词汇内涵意义的选择和增词译法,在句法层面,探讨了被动转主动、静态转动态、长句拆分为短句和重组的方法,在篇章层面,探讨了如何从链接和连贯出发做到篇章上的功能对等,在风格层面,主要探讨了如何做到文本风格上的功能对等。最终得出结论,依据功能对等理论,此类信息文本,可在词、句、篇以及文体风格层面得到贴切自然又对等的翻译。
