隔代抚育与子女养老行为选择:事实与解释

【摘要】：抚育成本增加和人口老龄化问题已经对年轻一代的生活与养老行为产生了重要影响。结合2011年和2013年"中国健康与养老追踪调查"的调查数据(CHARLS),利用倾向得分匹配方法,探究老人的隔代抚育行为对子女的养老行为是否会产生影响。研究发现:隔代抚育行为使得子女养老行为增加仅约7%,与使用传统Logistic模型回归得到的平均处理效应42.9%有很大的差异,并且经过不同方法检验显示结果非常稳健;隔代抚育对子女养老的影响效应在已婚且夫妻共同生活的人群中显著,而在其它婚姻状态下不显著;隔代抚育对子女养老的影响效应在生活水平较低的人群中显著,而在其它生活水平条件下不显著。
[Abstract]:The increase of upbringing cost and the aging of the population have had an important impact on the life and pension behavior of the younger generation. Based on the data of China Health and Old-age tracking Survey in 2011 and 2013, this paper uses the tendency score matching method to explore whether the intergenerational upbringing behavior of the elderly will have an impact on their children's old-age behavior. The results showed that the children's old-age behavior increased by only about 7, which was different from the average treatment effect of 42.9% by using the traditional Logistic model, and the results were very stable by different methods. The effects of intergenerational upbringing on children's old-age support were significant in married and married couples living together, but not in other marital states, and the effects of intergenerational upbringing on children's old-age support were significant in those with lower living standards. But under other living standard condition is not remarkable.
