社会性别视角下的代际支持与老龄健康

【摘要】：良好的代际关系对于老年人生活的重要程度不言而喻,这不仅体现在子女提供的经济支持是老年父母生活层面的有力支撑,还体现在代际支持对老年人生理及心理层面的"健康效应"。但子女在代际支持中的作用并不相同,传统性别制度赋予子女不同的赡养责任,生理和心理的差异又给予子女不同的支持优势。基于这两个层面,探讨了子女代际支持的数量差异和对老年父母健康状况的支持效率差异,并使用中国健康与养老追踪调查数据进行了实证分析。结果显示:传统性别制度的影响在农村依然存在,但女性在代际支持中作用逐渐凸显;城乡代际支持模式共性和差异性并存;子女在代际支持中均存在各自的支持优势。
[Abstract]:The importance of good intergenerational relationships to the lives of older people is self-evident, not only because the financial support provided by their children is a powerful support for the lives of older parents. It is also reflected in the health effects of intergenerational support on the physical and psychological aspects of the elderly. However, the role of children in intergenerational support is not the same. The traditional gender system endows children with different support responsibilities, and the differences of physiology and psychology give them different support advantages. Based on these two levels, this paper discusses the difference in the number of children's intergenerational support and the difference in support efficiency to the health status of elderly parents, and makes an empirical analysis using the data of China Health and Old-age Care tracking Survey. The results show that: the influence of traditional gender system still exists in rural areas, but the role of women in intergenerational support is gradually prominent; the intergenerational support modes of urban and rural areas are common and different, and children have their own support advantages in intergenerational support.
