[Abstract]:Parent-child relationship is the main relationship among members in modern nuclear family. The harmony of parent-child relationship not only affects the stability of the family, but also relates to the relationship situation in the whole social field. With the development of society, the social factors such as economy and culture in different periods have shaped the unique characteristics of each generation of people, and the replacement and difference between generations also make the parent-child relationship in different periods constantly present new characteristics and problems. In recent years, with the rising level of globalization and the upsurge of study abroad, more and more young people choose to study abroad for further studies. And the realization of these young people's dream of studying abroad is inseparable from the silent support of their parents behind it. Therefore, we should not ignore their parents and the whole family while focusing on the overseas students. On the one hand, foreign students, as independent individuals, receive different cultural education from their parents and have independent thinking and judgment; on the other hand, they are the offspring of their families who have received much attention, and cannot leave their parents in the economy. Emotional support. It can be said that the behavior of studying abroad objectively changes the original communication mode and content of the two generations to some extent, and whether such a change will have an impact on the parent-child relationship between the two generations is a question worth thinking about. Therefore, this paper chooses the parent-child relationship of unmarried students abroad as the topic, on the basis of combing the previous researches on parent-child relationship, through interviews and questionnaires, to understand the current group of unmarried overseas students and their family status. From the communication between parents and children, mutual understanding and subjective evaluation of parent-child relationship, we can see the change of parent-child relationship in this population. It was found that although studying abroad objectively changed the original communication methods and contents of the two generations, this formal change did not fundamentally affect the parent-child relationship of the group. On the contrary, most of the interviewees believe that studying abroad promotes the development of their parent-child relationship. However, under the appearance of this harmonious relationship, the current parent-child relationship of this group also presents its own unique characteristics and hidden some problems. Then, from the perspective of social exchange theory, this paper analyzes the educational differences between generations and the cultural feedback in intergenerational interaction. The traditional intergenerational concept and the idea of individual independence between parents and children are four aspects to explore these factors, which influence the trend of parent-child relationship by changing the intergenerational interaction of the family of this group. Furthermore, the change of tradition to modernity brought about by globalization is the fundamental factor of these changes. At the end of the article, we further extend the parent-child relationship to families in a wider range of society, and think about a series of social problems, such as parenthood, socialization of offspring and so on, which may bring about some social problems, such as intervention countermeasures and so on.
