中国建造超级对撞机争议的社会学理论维度分析

【摘要】:自2012年以来,学术界对中国要不要建造超级对撞机的争议不断。相关争论涉及到科学知识、科学共同体内部及外部等诸多层次社会因素。科学哲学中知识内在社会学表明,争论的实质涉及科学本体属性、科学认识方法、科学内在价值等关于科学知识的内在社会属性。科学共同体内部社会学表明,争论涉及科学规范、科学优先权、同行评议等主题。科学共同体外部社会学表明,争论关涉科学社会功能价值考量、科技运行社会资源配置、科技公共政策抉择等方面,同时关联着前两层面意蕴。这些科学争论的社会因素层面构成其社会学分析的理论维度。
[Abstract]:Since 2012, academic circles have been debating whether China should build the Super Collider. The related arguments involve many social factors, such as scientific knowledge, internal and external scientific community, etc. The intrinsic sociology of knowledge in philosophy of science shows that the essence of the controversy involves the intrinsic social attributes of scientific knowledge, such as the nature of scientific ontology, the method of scientific cognition, and the intrinsic value of science. Sociology within the scientific community indicates that the debate involves topics such as scientific norms, scientific priorities, peer review, and so on. The external sociology of the scientific community indicates that the controversy is related to the consideration of the function and value of science and society, the allocation of social resources in the operation of science and technology, the choice of public policy of science and technology, and so on, which are related to the first two levels of implication. The social factors of these scientific arguments constitute the theoretical dimension of their sociological analysis.
